April 9 – May 01, 2021
Opening: Friday, April 9th, 7-9PM

The Maryland Institute Black Archives (MIBA) is the premier resource for Black history and culture at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA). The repository discovers and exhibits MICA’s Black History from the 1800s to the present. Its newly redesigned online platform features online exhibitions and an accessible interactive database. MIBA also hosts a series of monthly public programs connecting the Baltimore and MICA communities to the richness, power, and creativity of their shared Black history. The archive is proud to highlight the work of MICA Alumni Gregory Gray. His newest series, Fragmentation/Integration, is a visual diary and a reminder of why he makes art.
