The Smoke Would Blow Towards Russia features work by the Swedish artists Monica Larsson and Catrin Lundqvist.

Larsson and Lunqvist travelled to the North of the Swedish countryside to discover their personal roots and explore the history of the industrial region. Their discoveries are revealed in this exhibition through film, photography and a timeline of events regarding Swedish working conditions and the toxic elements that the workers and sub-arctic ecosystem were exposed to.

This exhibition is graciously supported in the United States by the American Scandinavian Foundation.
